Even before he became president of the United States, Donald Trump wanted to build a physical wall across the US - Mexico border to stop people from the south illegally entering the country. He announced publicly on May 24, 2018, that he wouldn’t sign the immigration bill if it doesn’t include a real wall deal. Centrist House Republicans are forcing to pass a bill that protects immigrants that are brought as children to the United States, which is apparently against the Republican Party. Paul Ryan, House Speaker, and top Republican politician feel that if House Democrats and moderate Republican Party lawmakers might come together to make a bill that won’t be accepted by Donald Trump. Trump stressed that his dream immigration bill includes a border deal and strong border security measures. However, he chose not to mention what it exactly means a strong border security policy. One thing is sure that he wants strict immigration rules against illegal immigrants if they want him to protect Dreamers and Innovators. The immigration bill also includes strict regulations for diversity visa and family visa sponsorship. He is already frustrated for signing a bill worth $1.3 trillion that he didn’t agree with that. This year the United States increased funding for border security deal for $1.6 billion. Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Leader, said that there’s no way of passing an immigration deal that isn’t approved by Trump.
