The e-gates will be open to select countries

Hammond went further to announce that visitors from the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, and South Korea will be able to use the e-gates at airports in the UK and Eurostar terminals come June 2019. The associate director of Croner, Paul Holcroft, added by saying that Chancellor Philip Hammond revealed that employers in the UK could be getting more financial support from the government as long as Brexit happens with a deal with the EU. On the other hand, according to Holcroft, employers might be facing a spike in costs as well as increases in the rates for national minimum wage.
