Immigration South Australia remains open to applicants who are currently working in SA, Subclass 190 is closed to off shore applicant except the below list skilled professionals. Subclass 491 is still open and applications can be made.
Sub class 190 is still open for the Candidates who are working in South Australia for a minimum of 20 hours in last 12 months or for one has a minimum 6 month experience in the country region.
Subclass 491 is the only option if applicants do not meet the above specified requirements applies to all occupations except the below specified ANZSCO.
Also, hospitality occupations are now closed for off shore applicants as the quota is already reached.
All these changes are effective from March 27th 2020, applications lodged after 12 pm 27th March will have to meet the requirements for consideration.
Immigration SA is giving top priority to the applications and nomination for Medical and health professionals also has reduced work experience requirements for medical and health professionals working in South Australia, this decision has been made to support state government under the COVID-19 challenges
Medical and health professional graduated from South Australia higher education provider and currently working in their nominated or closely relevant occupation and are living in SA are exempt from three month experience , these exempted candidates will be eligible to apply under 491 Subclass and new requirements will be place for Subclass 190.
Exemption for 5 years experience is also given to registered nurses working in their nomination or closely relevant occupation in SA
